La maggior parte del software diventerà illegale per l'uso in Europa se questa pericolosa direttiva sarà adottata senza i necessari emendamenti.

La Commissione Europea ed il Consiglio dei Ministri stanno segretamente spingendo verso una brevettabilità del software senza limiti, fortemente incitati dalle multinazionali e da avvocati specializzati in brevetti. Essi stanno ignorando la decisione di voto democratico del Parlamento Europeo del 24 settembre 2003, che ha il supporto di oltre 300.000 cittadini, 2.000.000 PMI, dozzine di economisti e scienziati.

We are protesting against software patents in Europe.

Most software will become illegal to use in Europe if this dangerous directive is adopted without proper amending.

The Commission and the Council of Ministers are covertly pushing for unlimited patentability of software, heavily lobbied by multinationals and patent lawyers. They are ignoring the democratically voted decision of the European Parliament from 24 september 2003, which has the support of more than 300.000 citizens, 2.000.000 SMEs, dozens of economists and scientists.
